In April 2018, the European STEMPeers Network organised the EuroSTEMPeers conference in Berlin, featuring a stellar lineup of speakers. The event was memorable for all participants, and several attendees shared their journey from academia to their present roles in interviews with the CNS Newsletter. One of them was Dr. Radhika Patnala, the Founder of Endosymbiont.

During the interview conducted by Ioana Weber at the EuroStemPeers conference on 27 April 2019 Dr. Radhika Patnala guides through her experience of becoming a scientific illustrator from the start till how it is now. The interview published in the newsletter for the International Graduate Program Medical Neurosciences at Charite in Berlin follows her story of love for science and art, becoming an entrepreneur and shows her opinion on the future of scientific communication. 

‘My mission is quite personal. I would like to be useful to the people around me, and that includes the scientific community.’ she says.
