Introducing, the League of Extraordinary Celltypes. This project has been in the works for over two years, and we are so excited to finally release it.
Here, at Endosymbiont, we like to explore new themes that inspire us and new ways to make complex science understandable. Finding inspiration in the fascinating world of biology and medicine, we have been busy preparing an artistic ode to the marvels of human cellular diversity.
Every two weeks, we illustrate a new human cell type and pair it with a short story about its function. The goal? To inspire the reader, educate and celebrate the scientific teams standing behind the research of the human body.
Dr. Radhika Patnala created this series to highlight many of the diverse and sometimes niche, not-so-well-known, but equally fascinating cell types that exist in our body and make it work!
