The artwork series "Covid Dreams" by Dr. Radhika Patnala were featured in a BBC article.

The new article written by Dhruti Shah for BBC News is a story about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on how we show and illustrate complex aspects of science and healthcare. The piece introduces us to three women who are artists and care deeply about communicating science. One is Dr. Radhika of Endosymbiont, who discusses her artwork depicting her take on the pandemic.

"I came across this very interesting piece of information that people who got Covid-19 were having weird dreams. I thought that was an amazing idea to explore. I also wanted to challenge myself to try to depict something which is very serious and slightly depressing, in an unusual and visually different way."
